The Vicarage has been just been upgraded to Qualmark 5 Star Gold Rated. This recognizes our commitment to sustainability and our exceptional customer experiences.
5 Star Boutique Hotel
The Vicarage has always been a 5 Star property according to Qualmark. This relates to our guest offerings, recognizing that our facilities and services are among the best on offer in New Zealand.
The Qualmark star rating system helps guests know what to expect in terms of the level of accommodation - whether a property is budget, standard, or luxury.
Gold Rated
On the other hand, the Qualmark Gold accreditation is a new honour for us. This rating has to do with a property's sustainability and performance in 5 areas:
- Health & Safety
- Business Systems
- Environment
- People
- Community & Culture
We were previously a Silver rated business, which is already a significant achievement. To qualify for the Gold rating, we had to go above and beyond to prove we were delivering superb customer experiences with a commitment to sustainability.
