The stories of the Vicars. A social history.
The Vicar’s Sitting Room in the Vicarage features caricature/sketches of the Vicar’s and a brief biography has been written on each vicar. Collectively, they provide fascinating insights into the challenges of Christian ministry in rural New Zealand over 159 years. Some are included below. The caricatures were drawn for us by Geraldine artist Stewart Gollan.
